With Bentley's 100th anniversary coming up next year and the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition of Mulsanne. It pays tribute to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his personal cars.
The special model can be purchased with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be seen in the cabin. For example the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet houses an exhibit that has a part of the 8 Litre crankshaft displaying inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome appliqué that runs through the back of the vehicle. The front grille is patterned following 1930s-inspired Onyx, and there's an additional chrome cladding around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is unique, sporting a chrome shell instead of the standard body-color mesh that is found on the standard Mulsanne and featuring the Flying B logo as well.
